Job summary

Madden Industrial Craftsmen Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician for a long-term graveyard shift. The role maintains injection molds and contributes to process improvements to meet quality standards.

Requirements include an associate degree or apprenticeship, at least 3 years of tooling experience, proficient tool and machine knowledge, Mastercam and PC skills, and strong verbal/written communication. Direct hire with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Shop Technology, completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing tooling experience using production machinery.
• Proficient understanding of machine tools and their proper use.
• Proficient knowledge of tool steel and heat treatment requirements.
• Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Office and Mastercam.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on injection molds, ensuring calibration and repair accuracy.
• Maintain records and reports of activities per quality specs and standards.
• Inspect, clean, repair, and modify molds and machined parts for production areas.
• Operate manual and CNC machining equipment to perform repairs as needed.
• Follow safety programs, 5S initiatives, and ISO procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
