Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is hiring a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations. The role involves pre-analytical tasks, specimen processing, and post-analytical reporting. You will work 24 hours weekly on day shifts, Tue, Sat, and Sun, at 7727 Lake Underhill Road.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong English communication. Experience in clinical lab settings is preferred, with duties including quality control, data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
Experience with pre- and post-analytical lab activities and quality control.
Ability to follow SOPs, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Performs pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, specimen collection and processing.
Conducts post-analytical activities such as reporting results and supporting clinical staff.
Completes tests accurately according to SOPs and participates in proficiency testing.
