Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a production worker for the Indianapolis, IN area to operate and maintain automated packaging lines during the 10:45 PM–7:00 AM shift. The role focuses on safety, quality, and adherence to recipes, with a $22.00 hourly rate plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Requirements include 3 months in production or manufacturing, experience in food processing, PLCs/MMIs, GMP/USDA/OSHA compliance, and SAP proficiency. Overtime may be necessary to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience working in a food processing or packaging environment.
• Experience in an automated machinery environment (with PLCs or MMIs).
• Experience working in a USDA, FDA, OSHA, or GMP compliant environment.
• Proficiency in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety-focused behaviors toward zero injuries.
• Document and track production variables, downtime, and product samples.
• Ensure blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems.
• Follow and document time and temperature points in recipe specs to meet quality.
• Start-up, operate, maintain production processing equipment, and perform shut-down procedures.
• Scale minor ingredients into bins or mixing equipment according to recipes.
• Maintain computer-related equipment or control panels to operate automated machinery.
• Report to the line Team Lead.
• Work overtime to meet production and maintenance schedules.
