Job summary

Conagra Brands in Darien, Wisconsin is hiring a Production Specialist for the C shift. The role reports to Production Supervisors and is on-site at one of our largest facilities with 800+ employees.

You will ensure product quality, packaging compliance, and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include learning production schedules, assembling cases, verifying seals, labels, and weights, and stopping production for serious deviations.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform all duties safely.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to learn food handling and GMP practices.
• Ability to work as part of a production team.
• Reliable, with good attendance.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and follow instructions.
• Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements and specifications.
• Monitor fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code, and label accuracy.
• Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors.
• Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes, flaws, extraneous material, or discoloration.
• Stop production and report any serious deviation from requirements or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Assist operators with start-up, production, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
