Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of psychiatric or geriatric-psychiatric experience preferred.
• Experience performing phlebotomy and/or EKG testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant, alert observation and companionship to patients to monitor safety.
• Review and follow patient care plans to support goals and comfort.
• Record vital signs and report out-of-range values to the RN.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, ambulation and basic ADLs.
• Perform clinical tasks under RN direction, including EKGs and venipuncture.
