Job summary

COMHAR is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Technician to join a recovery-oriented, multidisciplinary team dedicated to empowering clients.

The part-time role supports daily living activities, monitors client wellbeing, and assists with implementing treatment plans under licensed staff supervision. Evening shift Thursday and Friday 12:00AM–8:00AM; requires a high school diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA/12 college credits in behavioral health preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with mental health or substance use preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, and medication reminders.
• Observe and document client behavior, changes, incidents, and progress.
• Support implementation of individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate group and recreational activities to promote social skills and recovery.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and assist with crisis response as needed.
