Job summary

SpectraCare is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician II for a full-time, overnight shift in its residential programs. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teaching basic living skills.

You will work an awake shift, assist with transportation, and support residents with daily activities while maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance. Responsibilities include meal preparation, group facilitation, and adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and Alabama regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's license with good MVR.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare snacks/meals per facility menus and policies.
• Assist with transporting clients and operate system vehicles safely.
• Lead and document skills-based groups on basic living skills.
• Complete required reports (incident, progress notes, EMAR, temperature, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and resident spaces.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policy, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines.
