Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 18 preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Continuing education credits and state requirements must be met annually.
• CMA/TMA certifications are required where applicable.
• CNA certification must be maintained with state nursing boards.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse.
• Deliver age-appropriate care per plan of care.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, medication administration, and vital signs; communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support dining, wellness and recreational programs; encourage resident participation.
