Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required and ASCP certification is preferred or AMT equivalence.
• Registration with ASCP or equivalent and strong customer service skills are essential.
• Experience in an automated clinical laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate, precise, and timely patient test results for diagnosis and management.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and perform quality control on instruments.
• Handle and process specimens (blood, tissue, urine, CSF, etc.).
• Ensure safety and infection control in all procedures and mentor new staff.
• Provide service to clinicians and maintain documentation of QC data.
