Job summary

Nationwide Children’s is seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Technician for the 3PM-11:30PM shift in Columbus, Ohio. The role includes rotating weekends and holidays, with benefits eligible.

The position supports NCH Clinical Lab operations across Core Lab, Transfusion Services, Molecular, and related areas, performing high-complexity testing and quality control. The candidate will perform routine and complex lab procedures, maintain equipment and documentation, and contribute to a safe, compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical/medical laboratory science or equivalent.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex procedures in the laboratory information system and adjacent duties in timely manner.
• May include phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, reporting, and storage.
• Maintains preventive maintenance, quality control, and documentation.
• Demonstrates compliance with applicable laws and lab procedures; supports quality assurance.
