Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Medical Technologist/POC/MLT for a night shift (7P–7A) at a 20-bed small-format hospital. The role focuses on specimen collection and analysis, with supervision of lab activities and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Full-time employment includes night/weekend differentials and parking benefits. Responsibilities include performing complex tests, quality control, safety protocols, and collaboration with departments to provide integrated laboratory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks and complex tests in all lab areas per protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collects and processes specimens using established protocols.
• Performs quality control and preventive maintenance to ensure proper instrument function.
• Validates and reports test results and assists with troubleshooting and QA issues.
• Maintain safety practices and confidentiality; ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
