Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Six years of clinical laboratory experience in high complexity testing or equivalent as stated in the job requirements.
• MLS or MT or MLT or equivalent certification from ASCP, or AMT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical testing on patient specimens.
• Evaluates test results and reports critical or abnormal findings as defined in procedures.
• Performs Quality Control testing daily and documents results.
• Performs preventive maintenance on instruments and equipment.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement Monitoring and Quality Assurance activities.
• Complies with hospital policies and patient confidentiality.

Education
