Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology.
• National Certification through ASCP/AMT/ABH/ABT or NCA.
• 1 year hospital laboratory experience desirable.
• BLS-Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual tests.
• Assess specimens for handling and quality.
• Perform quality control and calibration/maintenance of instruments.
• Communicate results to healthcare providers.
• Work closely with inpatient and outpatient customers across the Hospital.
