Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas or compact license
• BSN preferred for advancement
• Experience on oncology units desirable

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care per the nursing process for patients in the MS Oncology unit.
• Conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, and maintains medical records.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and develops/discharges/transfer plans.
• Supports evidence-based practice and ongoing program evaluation.
• Adheres to Texas Board of Nursing standards and MHHS policies.

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
