Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care. The role includes nursing assessments, exams assistance, patient education, and maintaining medical records, with experience-based RN levels (I-IV) across units.

Minimum qualifications include Texas RN licensure or compact license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
Current Texas RN license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or as required by discipline/unit.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to patients according to nursing skills and patient needs.
Coordinates planning for delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and administers clinical decisions.
Collaborates with healthcare team; develops and implements discharge/transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation, process improvement, and patient-centered outcomes.
Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies; ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors.
Supports department goals and professional growth through continuing education and competency development.
