Responsibilities

• The Medical Laboratory Technician prepares blood, urine and body fluids for analysis to diagnose, treat and prevent disease. This individual may specialize in one or more areas: biochemistry, bacteriology, toxicology, parasitology, serology, coagulation, hematology, urinalysis, or blood banking. They analyze results and report through the laboratory computer system.
