Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Night Shift Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT) to perform hematology, microbiology, chemistry and urinalysis testing. You will handle specimens, run analyses and ensure quality control under CLIA-compliant procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field and professional certification (ASCP/AMT/NCA/HEW) at hire. Hospital laboratory experience is preferred; night shift compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• One year clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: ASCP, AMT, NCA or HEW certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process and analyze blood and other specimens using laboratory instrumentation.
• Perform quality control and maintain records of results.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot testing systems to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare reports and communicate results to physicians.
