HSHS Medical Group seeks an MLS/MLT for our Core Laboratory at Springfield - St. John's Hospital. The role conducts tests on patient samples using instrumentation to aid diagnosis.

Schedule is 40 hrs/wk, nights 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday–Friday with every other weekend, in Springfield, IL. Required education includes a NAACLS-accredited MLS/MT program or ASCP with a bachelor’s degree, plus two years’ lab experience; certification eligibility within 180 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with NAACLS MLS/MT or ASCP plus 2 years full-time lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tests on patient samples using biomedical instrumentation and microscopes.
• Provide data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
