Qualifications

• Associate degree or NAACLS-accredited medical laboratory technician program required
• Experience in accredited lab preferred
• Certification eligibility by ASCP/NCA/AMT/HEW or similar agency required within 180 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tests on patient samples (blood, body fluids, cells, and tissue) using biomedical instrumentation, microscopes and computers.
• Provide data to physicians and health care providers to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Work with laboratory staff to ensure quality and accuracy of results.
