Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, IL is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for our Core Laboratory. This role conducts a variety of tests on patient samples using biomedical instrumentation, microscopes, and computers to aid diagnosis and treatment.

The position is full-time, night shift, 40 hours per week with every other weekend. NAACLS MLS/MT or ASCP eligible; requires a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with relevant lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with chemistry and mathematics; NAACLS MLS/MT program or ASCP/MLT with 2 years lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate tests on patient samples using biomedical instrumentation, microscopes and computers.
• Provide data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
