Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLT candidate for night shift (11 PM–7 AM) in Michigan. The role requires adherence to CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines, and the ability to maintain meticulous records and QA/QC practices.

You will review results, handle specimens, and participate in safety training while ensuring confidentiality. Qualifications include a BS in Medical Technology or related field and MT/MLT certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proficient in standard laboratory testing procedures and lab safety.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, processing, testing and reporting.
• Maintain records ensuring proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Review and release test results per SOPs and escalate issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines at all times.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and document corrective actions.

BS in Medical Technology

BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology

Associates in Laboratory Science

MT/MLT certification eligibility
