Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories in Dayton, OH is hiring for a Full-Time Night Shift Medical Laboratory Technician.

You will perform routine chemistry and hematology tests, oversee training, QC reviews, proficiency testing, instrument troubleshooting, and ensure all procedures meet regulations.

Requires an Associate or Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science with ASCP certification or equivalent, at least 1 year of chemistry testing, and demonstrated leadership and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science required or equivalent.
• ASCP certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of Chemistry testing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine technical work in Chemistry and Hematology as assigned by Shift or Site Manager.
• Perform and record routine maintenance and quality control on equipment and reagents.
• Provide guidance and training for department members; assist with new instruments and procedures.
• Oversee proficiency testing and competency assessments; coordinate with directors and site manager.
