Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories in Dayton, OH is seeking a full-time medical laboratory professional for evening (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) or night (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) shifts, both with weekend and holiday rotation, located at Miami Valley Hospital.

Responsibilities include performing tests, maintaining equipment, recording results, training staff, and ensuring safety policies are followed. Requires MLS degree and ASCP/AMT eligibility; strong data entry and accuracy required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS).
• ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible) or comparable required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests accurately following established policies and procedures.
• Maintain and quality-control on all equipment or reagents used for testing.
• Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and initiate problem solving procedures.
• Record results accurately and legibly in computer systems and notify clients of panic value results.
• Address client questions and problems courteously and efficiently, following department policies.
• Participate in training of new employees and students in appropriate technical areas.
• Comply with all corporate integrity and safety policies of CompuNet Clinical Laboratories.
• Contribute to overall effectiveness by performing other duties as required.
