Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Med-Surg, Wilmington, NC. The night shift is 3x12 hours (18:45–07:15) with a 36-hour workweek and a 13-week duration.

The ideal candidate has a strong critical care background, active RN licensure (compact license acceptable) and BLS; ACLS preferred. Epic documentation experience is required and trauma/neuro exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Active RN license required; compact state license pending approval is acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Experience with Epic documentation is necessary.
• Prior experience in a trauma or neuro unit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer heparin drips and blood products, and manage central and peripheral line care.
• Provide colostomy and feeding tube care, including maintenance and education.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage O2 protocols.
• Conduct phlebotomy, IV starts, and manage PICC lines.
• Perform tracheostomy care and wound management.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and maintain compliance with all patient care protocols.
• Float to similar units as required and support interdisciplinary teams.
