TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

As a MedSurg RN, you will conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs, perform ongoing assessments and treatments, and educate patients and families. This travel assignment requires BLS and 2 years of acute care experience, with nights on a 12-hour shift and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of acute care experience.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-operative patients.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Assist physician during examinations and treatments.
