Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse with Med/Surg and Telemetry experience for a travel assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina. The 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates will have NC or Compact RN license, BCLS certification, and EPIC experience; responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, IV medications, phlebotomy, and wound care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid for NC or compact licensure.
• Basic life support (BCLS) certification required.
• Experience with Med/Surg and Telemetry settings preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring techniques and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV medications and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Manage feeding tubes, colostomy care, and other specialized nursing tasks.
• Assist in the management of patients undergoing pre and post hemodialysis.
• Participate in rapid response and code situations with care teams.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and wound care protocols.
