Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Neuro Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilmington, NC. You will work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts (18:45–07:15) on the neuro surgical unit, delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing neuro procedures.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant RN experience, an active RN license (compact accepted), and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certification. CPI is a plus, with Epic charting used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a neuro surgical or acute care setting.
• Current RN license; compact licenses accepted.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; CPI preferred.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients on the neuro surgical unit with ratios of 1:5-6.
• Administer medications and perform assessments based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
• Participate in emergency situations and be prepared to respond during catastrophic events.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system.
