MaineGeneral Health in Hallowell, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Inpatient Med Surg team on 2 West. This is a 24-hour night shift position with two 12-hour shifts per week and weekend/holiday rotation.

You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care for a niche Oncology population in a supportive, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Maine state licensure as a Registered Nurse or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on 2 West med/surg unit.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Educate patients and families; delegate to ancillary staff when appropriate.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.
