Job summary

North Shore Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care in a Med/Surg setting under physician-directed care and RN supervision. We offer full-time opportunities with day/night shifts, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Florida RN license and BLS certification required. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, collaboration with the care team, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license and active nursing registration.
• BLS certification required.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation skills needed.
• Telemetry/Critical Care course preferred but not required.
• Computer skills for records, charting and communication.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Use standards of medical-surgical nursing to improve quality of care.
• Establish relationships with patient and family to tailor care plans.
• Utilize nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate care.
• Develop assessment and management strategies across health dimensions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of illness impacts on patient status.
• Coordinate with inter-professional team to plan and evaluate care.
