Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions seeks Registered Nurses for the Med/Surg unit on the Full-Time Nights shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care for Med/Surg patients, plus educating patients and families about medications and treatment instructions.

Applicants must hold a Florida RN license (or applicable compact licensure) with active FL license within 90 days, have a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or compact licensure, with FL license active within 90 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
