Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg on the night shift. You will deliver nursing care, assess and plan patient care, and educate patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.

The role includes orientation support and collaborating with the health team to ensure seamless patient care. Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS within 90 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or Diploma).
• Current RN license and ability to obtain state licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 90 days or as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Educate patients and families with timely health information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy with courteous communication.
• Assist in orientation/training of new staff and cross-train for coverage.
• Support staffing needs and take on cross-functional duties as needed.
• Demonstrate sound judgment for questionable findings and escalation.
