Avery Dennison is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the night shift at our Indiana facility. You will troubleshoot, repair complex mechanical drive systems, lead PM programs, and mentor junior technicians to improve reliability and safety.

Qualified candidates have 8+ years of repair experience with a HS diploma or an Associate degree with 4+ years, strong knowledge of drive trains, bearing preloads, gear sets, and AC/DC drives.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing mechanical systems and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical drive trains, gear reducers and drive alignment.
• Familiarity with PM programs and root-cause problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical drive systems and equipment.
• Establish preventive maintenance routes and PM schedules for uptime.
• Lead root-cause analysis for high-level mechanical issues.
• Mentor shift technicians and share technical knowledge.
• Create and update SOPs and technical documentation.
