Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Superintendent (Harvest) for a large meat-processing facility in Kokomo, IN.

You will oversee deboning operations, lead production teams, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the department. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s preferred), 5+ years of leadership in protein/manufacturing, lean/CI experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume protein or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams with a focus on safety, quality, training, and performance development.
• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, extended hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and prioritize departmental production activities to meet goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Provide direction to Supervisors and teams, ensuring strong communication, accountability, and consistent execution of production plans.
• Lead daily review of production performance and drive corrective actions where needed.
