Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a Fulltime Nights Staff RN for the Maternity Unit in Stamford, CT. Shifts run 7pm–8am with rotating weekends and holidays, delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care in alignment with the Planetree philosophy.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervision of non‑RNs, and precepting new staff. Candidates should have CT RN licensure, BLS, and preferably a BSN. Stamford Health offers competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process and established standards.
• Supervise non‑RN personnel and act as resource for ancillary staff.
• Preceptor to new staff and students as requested.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and Code of Conduct.
