Stamford Health is seeking a Fulltime RN for the Float Pool on the Day Shift (3 shifts, 13 hours each, 7am–8pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care within a Planetree-aligned culture, supporting staff and patients alike.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• CT RN license required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience; acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the Nursing Process and standards of practice.
• Supervise non-RN personnel and assist on assigned unit as resource.
• Precept new staff and/or students as requested.
• Document nursing plans and daily progress notes in patient charts.
• Provide patient education and communicate with care team to ensure safe, effective care.
