Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a Fulltime Nights Staff RN for the Maternity Unit in Stamford, CT. The position runs 7pm–8am with rotating weekends and holidays, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will coordinate nursing care, supervise non-RN staff, and participate in unit initiatives. A CT RN license and BLS are required; BSN is preferred. Stamford Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CT RN license.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
• Experience with adult and pediatric clinical assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care following the Nursing Process and standards of practice.
• Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource on the unit.
• Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role.
• Serve as preceptor to new staff and students as requested.
• Adhere to hospital policies, code of conduct, and compliance programs.
