Job summary

Warner Electric is seeking a Team Leader for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) to lead the Material Handler group. The role drives safety, workplace organization, quality, on-time delivery, productivity and inventory, while training team members and coordinating shift activities.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, familiarity with lean manufacturing methods, and the ability to operate industrial trucks and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and previous leadership/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, TPS, 6 Sigma, or similar improvement methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to production performance and guide material associates.
• Improve safety and housekeeping; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Lean manufacturing processes and communicate across shifts and cells.
• Operate industrial trucks, hoists, tuggers, and pallet jacks to move materials.
• Load/unload materials, prepare skids and maintain orderly production floors.
