Job summary

Novolex in Vernon, OH is hiring a Material Handler to move, store, and manage materials for production, storage, and distribution. This role requires safe operation of material handling equipment and daily cooperation with machine operators to ensure material availability for every line during night shifts.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and timely handling of incoming and outgoing materials, with overtime as needed and a pre-employment background and drug screening

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Overtime as required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished products; maintain an orderly warehouse.
• Safely operate forklifts and/or pallet movers.
• Support materials handling for production materials.
• Monitor lines and supply materials for each line during shift.
• Coordinate with machine operators to anticipate needs.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and review related documentation.
• Weigh pallets and scrap when applicable.
• Unload/load trucks or stage as directed by supervisor.
• Inspect finished pallets before pickup and distribution of materials.
