Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation in Ohio is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support production by moving raw materials, operating forklifts, and managing inventory across departments. The role requires a 12-hour night shift schedule (7PM–7AM) with potential overtime, and a focus on safety and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

You will work with FIFO supply to feed finishing and coating lines, safely operate equipment, and maintain accurate stock records using MES/Oracle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator experience or certification.
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn MES/Oracle inventory tracking.
• Strong adaptability, resilience, and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work a 12-hour continuous schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supply Production: Pull bulk rolls using FIFO to supply finishing and coating lines on schedule.
• Equipment & Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trailers, move material racks, and stage goods.
• Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory transactions in MES/Oracle to maintain stock integrity.
• Team Collaboration & Housekeeping: Work closely with cross-functional operators, support site 5S initiatives, and keep walkways clear.
