Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Material Handler I for the 3rd shift in the Paint area. The role involves lifting up to 40 pounds, operating a forklift, and ensuring quality in a safety-focused environment. You will load, unload, and move parts, verify kanban accuracy, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Training and overtime opportunities are available as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain a forklift license, and at least 6 months in your current role

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.
• Employee must complete at least 6 months in current role before applying for another position including same role on a different shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks that support Eaton's Quality standards and systems.
• Operate forklift and retrieve parts from storage locations as needed.
• Set hook arrangements, hang parts, visually check quality, pack equipment, and store hooks properly.
• Verify counts and Kanban cards for accuracy; perform de-burring and de-greasing operations.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and practice 5S; train new employees.
