Job summary

Arcosa Shoring in Houston, TX seeks a Material Handler for the Paint Department on 2nd shift. The role focuses on expediting the movement of raw and finished materials and delivering parts to keep production flowing.

You will operate forklifts, assist your paint department team, conduct quality inspections as needed, and adhere to safety rules including PPE requirements. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• PPE required and safety gear usage.
• Physical ability to perform tasks with required PPE and no pulmonary restrictions.
• Ability to operate a forklift and control lifting movements.
• One year of on-the-job training and forklift certification.
• Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
• Ability to function as a team member and maintain relationships.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Issue parts/supplies to internal customers in warehouse/yard.
• Operate forklifts, company vehicles, and use fall protection.
• Assist paint department team members.
• Conduct quality inspections as needed.
