BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler I in Middletown, OH to prepare and package finished coils. You will operate exit recoiler controls, packaging equipment and a forklift, ensuring proper identification and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or experience required.
• Preferred: one year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate exit recoiler controls and packaging line for finished coils.
• Drive a forklift to move materials to proper locations.
• Verify finished goods are identified with tickets before storage.
• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping of coils.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Quality Control as needed.
• Communicate with Maintenance, Operations and Quality Control to resolve problems.
