Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Middletown, OH is seeking a Material Handler I for the night shift. You will prepare and package finished coils, operate exit recoiler controls, packaging line, and a forklift, following safety and quality standards.

You will verify proper identification, prep materials for packaging, quarantine non-conforming material, and communicate with Maintenance, Operations and Quality to meet production goals. Shift 5:45 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Good communication and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Operate exit recoiler controls and packaging line for finished coils.
• Verify finished goods are properly identified before moving to storage.
• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping of coils.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Quality Control when issues arise.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations and Quality Control to meet goals.
