Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is seeking a Material Handler I to prepare and package finished coils on the night shift in the United States. Primary duties include operating exit recoiler controls, packaging lines, and forklift driving to move materials safely to designated locations.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED with a preference for 1 year of manufacturing experience. Strong attention to detail and solid communication are essential for coordinating with maintenance,

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or experience.
• Preferred: One year of Manufacturing Experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate exit recoiler controls and packaging line; drive forklift.
• Verify finished goods with identification ticket before storage.
• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping of finished coils.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Quality Control.
• Communicate with Maintenance, Operations and QC to resolve issues.
