GE Aerospace in Auburn, AL, seeks an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Technician for a Fri-Sun night shift to support production and engineering teams. You will troubleshoot manufacturing processes, implement corrective actions, and develop SOPs to improve quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include solving process issues, training staff, performing machine qualifications, and coordinating with OEMs and engineers while supporting EHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years in a technical field.
• Experience with machine PLC/control systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience in a high-performance work team environment.
• Ability to work a 10 hour shift with a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Lead role in resolving manufacturing technical issues via root cause problem solving and permanent corrective actions.
• Bridge between production associates and process engineers for advanced problem solving.
• Train and sign off individuals in production processes.
• Perform machine and process qualifications.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles.
• Interface with machine OEMs and internal contacts to convey technical requirements.
• Participate in EHS actions to improve safety in own area.
