Aerotek in Hartwell, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) to support reliable plant operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, follow diagrams and manuals, maintain inventories, ensure safety, and collaborate with teams to minimize downtime while advancing Process Safety Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.

Qualifikationen

• 13 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, or related technical roles.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Vocational or technical school training in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Ability to follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer instructions to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with welding, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia refrigeration, and building maintenance tasks.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification through the company.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machines following schedules and manuals.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions using instruments.
• Identify problems and implement corrective actions to restore operation.
• Maintain inventories and order parts as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
• Document work orders, parts used, and timeframes.
