Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) seeks a Maintenance Technician I-Conversion for our Nevada facility near Reno. The role involves modifying and maintaining production machinery for new cell models, with hands-on mechanical and electrical work and operator responsibilities.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment while supporting line conversions and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical hardware changes to accommodate new cell model requirements.
• Inspect and prepare incoming hardware shipments for line conversions.
• Check settings, gauge readings and sensors to keep machines within specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines.
• Report faulty operations and defective material to supervision.
• Partner with operators for cleaning tasks and minor repairs and adjustments.
