Job summary

ACL Digital is hiring an Associate Manufacturing Systems Engineer for our Ohio site. The role provides technical support for automation in the Inspection and Packaging area, focusing on equipment performance, reliability, and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs, collaborating with controls, maintenance, and operations, and supporting qualification and validation activities. The candidate should have a strong automation background and hands-on PLC experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years in automation-focused roles such as Automation/Controls Technician.
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting.
Experience with HMIs and industrial automation systems.
Experience with automated packaging or manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide tech engineering support for manufacturing equipment and automation in Inspections/Packaging.
Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and CI initiatives.
Troubleshoot PLC and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Read PLC ladder logic and work with controls engineers on fixes.
Support HMIs, sensors, drives, and related components.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations to resolve issues.
Participate in change control, qualifications, and validation activities.
