Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the night shift and drive safety, quality, service and productivity. You will manage teams, schedules, and equipment, enforcing policies and customer requirements while fostering a High Performance Culture.

Success requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in operations or 5+ years in related roles, SAP experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years in operations/production supervision or related experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and strong computer proficiency.
• SAP experience is a plus and MS Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and promote safety first in all responsibilities.
• Oversee daily production to meet goals and manage schedules and coverage.
• Champion continuous improvement projects and sustain gains from initiatives.
• Evaluate equipment and material problems and coordinate with Maintenance/Process Engineering to resolve them.
• Interpret and enforce disciplinary processes consistently and ensure training is current.
