Job summary

Essex Solutions USA LLC, Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Production Supervisor to drive waste reduction and efficiency in manufacturing. You will supervise the workforce, support the Manufacturing Manager, and ensure compliance with plant standards and safety programs.

The role includes night shift coverage (6 days on, 2 days off), 11pm–7am, and coordinating with service groups to optimize throughput and quality. Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

Two years of direct supervision in manufacturing is helpful.
Proficient with computer operations and Microsoft Office.
ISO 9001 / IATF experience is a plus.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and creatively.

Responsibilities

Supervise production workforce and ensure adherence to plant standards and procedures.
Aid Manufacturing Manager and coordinate with manufacturing service groups.
Communicate shift activity and equipment/process changes to staff.
Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency; monitor performance boards.
Provide training, guidance and coaching to employees.
